Product Registration

Warranty Policy


MOTOR GUARDIAN CAM warrants this product including supplied accessories against defects in material or workmanship for a period of ONE (1) year from the date of purchase. Pursuant to this Limited Warranty, MOTOR GUARDIAN CAM will, at its option, (i) repair the product using new or refurbished parts, (ii) replace the product with a new or refurbished product or (iii) refund the purchase price of the product. In the event of a defect, these are your exclusive remedies. For purposes of this Limited Warranty, "refurbished" means a product or part that has been returned to its original specifications.

Warranty service is only available from within the country where the Products were originally purchased. This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser of a new product which was not sold “as is”. You may be required to ship Products, at your expense, to the authorized service facility for the country where the Products were purchased. Proof of the date of purchase will be required with any request for warranty repair.


Accessories: Included accessories, except for SD card, are covered by this Limited Warranty for a period of ONE (1) year.


Repair/Replacement Warranty: This Limited Warranty shall apply to any repair, replacement part or replacement product for the remainder of the original Limited Warranty period of ONE (1) year. Any parts or product replaced under this Limited Warranty will become the property of MOTOR GUARDIANCAM. This Limited Warranty only covers product issues caused by defects in materials and workmanship when used normally in accordance with MOTOR GUARDIAN CAM’S published guidelines for a period of ONE (1) YEAR from the date of original purchase by the end-user purchaser. MOTOR GUARDIAN CAM’s published guidelines include, but are not limited to, information contained in technical specifications, user-manuals, and service communications. This Warranty does not apply to any non-MOTOR GUARDIAN CAM branded hardware products, even if packaged or sold with MOTOR GUARDIAN CAM hardware. Manufacturers, suppliers, or publishers, other than MOTOR GUARDIAN CAM, may provide their own warranties to you – please contact them for further information. MOTOR GUARDIAN CAM does not warrant that the operation of the MOTOR GUARDIAN CAM product will be uninterrupted or error-free. MOTOR GUARDIAN CAM is not responsible for damage arising from failure to follow instructions relating to the MOTOR GUARDIAN CAM’s product use.

This Limited Warranty does not cover product issues caused by reasons, including but not limited to product issues due to acts of God, neglect, mishandling, misapplication, faulty installation, improper maintenance, power line surges, lightning damage, misuse, limitations of technology, or modification of or to any part of the MOTOR GUARDIANCAM product. This Limited Warranty does not cover MOTOR GUARDIANCAM products sold AS IS or WITH ALL FAULTS or consumables (such as fuses or batteries). This Limited Warranty is invalid if the factory-applied serial number has been altered or removed from the product. This Limited Warranty is valid only in North and South America.


Limitation on Damages: Motor Guardian Cam shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages for breach of any express or implied warranty on this product.


Duration of implied warranties: Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law, any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose on this product is limited in duration to the duration of this warranty.


Instructions: To obtain warranty service, you must deliver the product, freight prepaid, in either its original packaging or packaging affording an equal degree of protection to the MOTOR GUARDIAN CAM authorized service facility specified. It is your responsibility to backup any data, software or other materials you may have stored or preserved on your unit. It is likely that such data, software, or other materials will be lost or reformatted during service and MOTOR GUARDIAN CAM will not be responsible for any such damage or loss. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages or allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This Limited Warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may have other rights which vary from state to state.


Domestic Shipping Policy

Shipment processing time

All orders are processed within 2-3 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.


Return Policy

At Motor Guardian Cam, your complete satisfaction is our top priority. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you can return it to us within 30 days of receipt of item(s). You have the option of exchanging the item(s) or receiving a refund for the full amount minus shipping fees of the original purchase price. Refunds on returned items will be issued in the same payment form as tendered at the time of purchase. If payment was made by credit card, we will credit your account once we receive the product. Please allow 5-7 business days for a credit to appear on your credit card statement. If payment was made by check, the refund check will be issued after 10 business days from the date of purchase.


Please read all conditions below. If conditions are not met, Motor Guardian Cam Inc. reserves the right to refuse the return or to charge a restocking fee of 15%.


How to return or exchange an item:

 * In order to return an item you need to first obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.

* Please call or email us to request an RMA number.
* You must fill out an RMA form to return an item.
* Once you have obtained an RMA, you will have two weeks to send it in to us. (We must receive it within two weeks from when the RMA was issued.)
* Place the original package into a shipping carton.
* All original items including all accessories which came with product must be included in package.
* Any cut or damaged cable will void the warranty.
* Include the invoice and the reason for the return. If defective, please specify the defect.
* The RMA number must be clearly written on the outer box.
* Ship via insured ground service with a tracking number. Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. We are not responsible for lost or damaged packages.
